Embrace your flaws

This picture cracks me up. Not a clue what I was so confused about?! I’m fortunate that I usually take a good photo, but none of us are perfect. So it’s always good to embrace that fact! And always be able to laugh at yourself.

I’m feeling so much better today, not sure what yesterday’s snotfest was about. But there you go. I did an amazing meditation last night – to heal colds and flus. I feel asleep during it, that never happens! Did the trick though.

I’m still a little snotty (insert your own jokes), but a lovely hack out did me the power of good. Buddy got his groove on and was striding down the road.

It’s OK to rest

Well we haven’t had this view for a while! I woke up with a snotty nose, sore sinuses and a banging headache. Typical when I had a lovely day planned.

So today I’ve rested and listened to my NLP course. It’s audio files so I’ve sat in the conservatory and absorbed the information as best I can.

Hugo has spent most of the day asleep on my lap. My head is a little fuzzy now – from the snot and NLP. Don’t get me wrong, I’m loving learning it, but it does make your head hurt sometimes.

Hoping to being back to my normal scintillating self tomorrow…

Stretch

Dodo was very interested in Pilates today. I needed it after all the painting yesterday. She managed to sit in front of the camera to watch, which the other participants found a little distracting. All I could hear was cooing rather than the usual groaning…

Make a change

What to do on a rainy day?! Paint your feature wall of course!!

I was aiming for Mulberry when I originally painted it but it came out a lot more pink than I’d planned (bottom photos are before). While I did love the pink, it wasn’t the look I was going for. So today I got the colour I was aiming for.

Goodbye Moroccan Velvet, hello Mulberry Burst.

Isn’t it amazing how a coat of paint can completely change the feel of a room? It looks so luxurious and decadent. I love it!

Road trip

So we went out in the lorry for the first time this year! I wasn’t sure how it would be as it’s been a long time, but Buddy loaded first time! We headed out to Brampton for a lesson with Nick Turner. Learnt a lot and came away with homework. Buddy was Mr Chilled today.
