Never forget

I entered Murphy into an online show in the animal rescue story. And we won!! Mine wasn’t the normal rescue as he definitely rescued me. There’s not a day I don’t think of him. He’ll always be in my heart and I am eternally grateful to him for saving me. Buddy now does the same role. He keeps me putting one foot in front of the other. Horses have saved me so many times.

Trust the universe

Whether you believe them or not, my horoscope has been pretty spot on recently. Take today’s….

I’ve spend most of the day talking. Talking about my new venture. Talking about how I can help others. Talking to friends. I’m all talked out. Thankfully I get to listen for a bit as I’ve got a webinar of headshaking tonight. Equine not mine.

Thank you to everyone I’ve talked to today or this week. Your support, advice and encouragement has been amazing.

Plant seeds

Today I have been a metaphorical gardener. Well the weather has stopped play on the physical gardening.

I’ve sent my short story off to a few publishers, I’ve had lots of conversations about other opportunities and I’ve started promoting my new business.

Let’s see what grows strong. I’m pretty green fingered in the garden. Hopefully I can do the same in my life too.

Try pastures new

One thing I’m really enjoying about lockdown is that I haven’t been near a supermarket for a while. I’m eating my way through my home cooked meals in my freezer (a sentence I thought I’d never say) and popping to the local shop for fresh bits. Popped into a different local shop today and found this enormous loaf for the princely sum of £1.99. It’s so good!

I’m saving money too as I’m no longer being tempted to buy stuff by clever marketeers. I know I should know better being one. I know exactly what they’re doing and I still fall for it. I’m a sucker for shiny packaging.

The tardis

Not totally sure how, but I managed to get this in my car! Seems my little car is bigger than I thought. I feared I may have to cut it in half or borrow a bigger car. Cause that’s never happened before (she says remembering having to do that when she couldn’t get her new chicken house in it on Friday). First coat of paint done too.

I’ve had such a productive day. I surprise myself with my story writing this morning. And even more so with the amount of moss I got from my ‘lawn’. My lockdown list seems be be getting longer too! Still it makes the time fly by.
