Leave a trail

Today is a very big day! I’ve taken the plunge and set up my own business. This last few weeks have helped to remind me that I have a lot of marketable skills, I’m bloody good at what I do and I can really make a difference in people’s lives. So here’s the big reveal – https://www.facebook.com/leaveatrailUK/

It’s a bit light on content, but I’m working on that.

I’m going to focus on helping people leave a trail for themselves – whether it’s helping them to:

  • get their businesses out there through clear communications, marketing and PR.
  • change their mindset through life-coaching, business coaching or mentoring.
  • see that you can overcome any adversity.

So if you need help, I’m your girl!

He’s home

Very emotional picking up his ashes, but he’s back where he belongs. Nero immediately rubbed the tube as soon as I showed it to him. Now to bury him somewhere and buy a nice plant for him. I’ve found a peony called ‘Tom Cat’ in Russia (!), so now looking to see if I can find one in the UK…

Every day’s a school day

What an educational day. Started with Lioness Bootcamp this morning looking at the power of business testimonials, then this evening it was looking at Equine Performance and finally learning about the different types of gastric ulcers in horses. Phew! My brain is mush but I’ve learnt a lot!

Play to your strengths

Blimey! What a fabulous day. I joined a ladies in business network a couple of months ago and I’ve been helping some of them with their comms. Today I wrote my top tips (or Pip’s Tips) on how to write effective copy. I feel like I’m back in my groove. I have so many skills, talents and ideas, this lockdown has really helped to remind me that I can make a difference. Communication and writing come naturally to me, so I forget that it can be very daunting for others.

Enjoy the calm

I went for a walk tonight. There wasn’t a soul in sight. It was blissful and just want I needed as a reset after a really busy day. I spend most of the day on the laptop. I even wrote some comms. It’s been a while since I did that. Felt really good though.

Thank you

I saw this and it sums up how I’m feeling right now. I’m very grateful to everyone who’s supported me on this rollercoaster journey so far. I’m in a much better place at the moment. The facts haven’t changed, but my mindset and attitude definitely have. Thank you for taking the time to read my ramblings. Hope you keep enjoying it.
