Raving

Well I have had a VERY productive day. Ticked soooo many things off my list. I won’t bore you with everything. It involved a lot of housework and gardening.

I charged up my iPod (shows my age right there). It’s got so many bangers on it. I was raving in the garden while I battled with the mower. Bopping while I was planting some veg. And wiggling while hanging out the laundry. So many tunes I haven’t heard for a long time.

Not sure I needed to burn extra calories dancing, but when you hear a tune, you just can’t help moving. Music is so uplifting.

At least tomorrow I won’t have a hangover, but I’m pretty sure I’ll be feeling it. Good job I won’t be doing much walking tomorrow, oh wait I’m off to Burnham Market to watch the eventing.

Spring Equinox

We made it people! Today is the Spring Equinox. I must admit I wasn’t thrilled when I woke up to yet more rain. But it soon passed and turned into an OK day.

After working so many hours, it was a catch up day. Catching up on laundry, housework, admin, friends and most importantly, my Buddy Boy.

He certainly had a spring in his step today. And that puts a smile on my face.

Undergrowth

I woke up on a mission. I’d stripped the bed, changed the bedding, washed the bedding, hoovered and cleaned before 9am!!

Then I hit the laptop. I got a bit distracted by a weird noise outside. At first I thought it was a bird. Then I thought I’d landed in a Hammer House of Horror film as all I could hear was creaking.

You know when you hear a noise. Then you can’t stop hearing said noise. So I headed into the garden to try and work out what it was. Few minutes later, I realised it was the overgrown buddleja rubbing on the fence.

Cue me diving into the undergrowth with the loppers like Lara Croft! Of course I took the more challenging route to get in. And found a fuchsia that I didn’t know I had. Also got smacked in the face by a few branches.

Might have got a bit carried away. So I now have a full brown bin and no more creaking.

I may have peaked too early this week…

And rest

This morning I woke up and felt the need to be.

So of course that meant I did the housework, spend a few hours weeding and went for a lovely hack.

It’s my kind of ‘being’ I guess.

My British Eventing socks made me laugh. First time I’ve worn them. Can you see the cats on them?
