I was given this hyacinth when I broke my ankle. I kept it hoping it would reflower. Today I spotted it was trying. Made me very happy.
Something pretty on a grey and wet day.

Welcome to blog! I started it in 2020 to chart my recovery from breaking my ankle (hence the name). I guess no-one saw a global pandemic coming. It's turned into a place where I can talk about the things happening in my life, my horse and my cats. Enjoy!

So this week I’ve started another qualification. In Mental Health and Wellbeing this time. It’s really good but making my head hurt.
The brain is an amazing thing. We can create such wonderful thing. But my goodness it can be a mystery too.

So it seems Hugo is the king of the castle. We have a climber people!

What a beautiful day. I took Buddy out for a hack in the sun. The autumn colours are really coming out now. It looks so pretty out.
Think we found top gear as we headed up the gallop strip. He felt so good, I just let him go and boy did he go. Such an amazing feeling.
Oh and my car has its MOT. Phew!!

Buddy had his equine flu jab this morning. I got my steps in as I had to walk to the yard and back. It’s a 5km round trip if you’re interested.
Good news! My car is fixed. Again. And booked in for its MOT. Again. Fingers crossed it passes this time.

So my little car failed it’s MOT today. I think this is the first time I’ve ever had a car fail before. Another new experience for me. It’s heading back to the garage tomorrow to get fixed. Another car bill coming my way.
I’ve decided to stop calling in my free car as it’s cost me a little bit since I got it. Still very grateful to have it as it allowed me to buy the Buddymobile.
And I think I’ve probably put more miles on it since I got it than my Mum did in the whole time she had it. No wonder it needs work.
Fingers crossed it passes second time.

This made me smile today. They were all snuggled up on their own level. How cute is that?!
They were so happy. Good job too as we seem to be back to murky weather today.

It’s been such a beautiful day here today I wanted to spend as much time outdoors as possible. Coffee on the patio first thing. A brisk 5.8km walk round Braydeston. And a lovely hack with a Buddy to take my total to 11km for the day. Not bad really.
There was some heat in the sun. Felt go good to feel the sun on my face. Though I may have over layered.

One is simply never too old to kick leaves… 😂
Happy Sunday! It’s another beautiful Autumnal day. Coffee in the garden in November. Who’d have thought?!
