So today I had a lesson with Badminton winner, Piggy March (nee French). I have to say she’s a very lovely person. So kind and caring. She started the lesson by saying that she was on our side.

She liked Buddy too. Said he was a good sort and very good looking. That just about made my year!

Buddy was on top form too. He flew all of the jumps and considering it was another new venue, he took it all in. One silly moment, but that was my fault. Overall I’m very happy with us today.

Very impressed with Wakefield Farm Stud&Livery too. Lovely indoor arena. Though Buddy was a tad confused by the horse statue outside.

Up early this morning for a lovely hack before work. It was the perfect way to start my day.

I didn’t finish work till 10pm last night so missed the Strictky final live. Made it through without finding out the result too. That rarely happens! So that was a lovely way to spend my afternoon. What a show!! I was in floods by the end of it.

My left eye has been a bit scratchy over the last few days. Today I woke up with a pink eyeball. It doesn’t hurt. But I can feel my eyeball if that makes sense.

Luckily I was working so popped to the pharmacy to get some drops during my first break. In the process I managed to lose my locker key. Managed to get the master key so I could get home. My big concern as my phone, wallet and car keys were in my locker. Had to skip lunch as it took my second break to sort it out.

Got home to find this beautiful poinsettia from my Pilates teacher. They always make me feel Christmassy.

As it my eye wasn’t pink enough, I somehow managed to flick sand in both eyes while lunging Buddy. Honestly, it’s a wonder I’m allowed out unsupervised… Good job I have eye drops.

Blimey what a busy day catching up with people and stuff. It’s been a good day all in all.

This morning Hugo made me laugh by claiming a mixing bowl as his new bed. Honestly what is it with cats?! #ifitfitsisits

Buddy was an idiot in the outdoor. Thought I’d do my homework from my dressage lesson. Buddy had other ideas and thought there were monsters in the bushes.

Oh well, I got to practise my ‘stickability’ instead.

This was the perfect way to start my day. Just me, my boy and some sunshine.

It was milder than I thought, so i over layered. Not going to complain about that though.

Many of you know that I’m not that interested in food. Working at a supermarket has thrown up an interesting phenomena for me. Food envy!

I see things coming through the till and it’s inspiring me to try different things.

I am, however, a massive of finger food. I’ve seen quite a few of these bad boys today. It had to be done.

I nearly sprayed my coffee when I opened this picture. It’s baby Hugo for sure.

I’m wondering what chaos the kittens are causing while I’m at work. First late for me, so just having my dinner break. Then back to the tills till 10pm! Wish me luck!

The next few weeks are going to be busy as I’ve got lots of shifts at Tesco’s and other work on. So I decided to have a rest day. I flitted between ‘must rest’ and ‘must do’. Thankfully must rest won!

Pottered about, chilled out with the boys and popped Buddy over a few jumps.

Now watching Kung Fu Panda, fire lit and chicken casserole in the over.

Looking through some videos on my phone and came across this gem. Pretty sure my brain took a holiday at this point. 🤪

Makes me laugh everytime. Buddy is a saint for carrying on and jumping the next jump.

It’s starting to look a lot more Christmassy Chez Pip. Spent this morning putting my tree up and got my wreath from the super talented Helen Evans.

So far Hugo and Dodo are as nonplussed with Christmas as Nero and I are. Fingers crossed it stays that way.
