I’m home. And I’ve been missed it seems. The boys have been super cuddly.
Good news that my Dad’s eye procedure went smoothly on Wednesday.

Welcome to blog! I started it in 2020 to chart my recovery from breaking my ankle (hence the name). I guess no-one saw a global pandemic coming. It's turned into a place where I can talk about the things happening in my life, my horse and my cats. Enjoy!

It’s great to know that Buddy is being spoilt while I’m away. I love being sent photos of him. This made me laugh. He obviously enjoyed the pear he’d just been given.
After an intense day of training, it was just what I needed. I do miss this little face. My head is a little frazzled now. The course is really good. It’s making me think lots though.

For many years growing up, Thursdays were fish & chips night in the Langley household. So seemed a fitting dinner tonight. Can’t remember the last time I had fish & chips. Probably another time visiting my parents.
I am now as full as an egg.

I love this Irish blessing. And I wish you all the luck of the Irish. I certainly lucked out when I found my Irish boy 4 years ago.
I’m not spending St Patrick’s Day with him, but I’m sure he’s celebrating in his stable without me… 🐴😉

When I drive past this viaduct, I know I’m almost at my parents. Today it looked so beautiful in the evening sunshine.
For many years, I went over this on a daily basis on my way to London as it’s the main London to Brighton train line.
It really is a stunning piece of architecture.

I love this day. The day the seed catalogue comes through the door. It’s so exciting looking at the new varieties and plan what to grow this year.
It’s not for everyone, but I honestly never thought I’d be this person. The person who’s excited about growing veg. Just shows you never know unless you try and we’re always growing…

I spend the day with my boys. I may not be a Mum in the traditional sense, but I love my boys nonetheless.
Happy Mother’s Day to everyone. I spoke to my Mum earlier and she’s looking forward to seeing me on Tuesday.
This made me laugh. I do find that I’m sounding more and more like my Mum. Anyone else?

The weather was changeable again today so we headed indoors for a fun jumping session. We were practising our turns and jumping on the angle
Definitely put a smile on my face.

Even if I do say so myself, Buddy looks rather fetching in his new rug.
Not sure he was that impressed with being asked to do a fashion show after we’d ridden. He was much more keen on having his dinner. He obviously wasting away as you can see.
