The horse does all the work

It’s always made me laugh when people say that the horse does all the work. And as riders, we just sit there. Today I’ve definitely disproved that.

We headed off for a lesson this morning over at Martham. We were put through our paces for sure.

After getting back and sorting Buddy out, I took the lorry home to give it a deep clean. We head off to our first training camp of 2022 this weekend. So I wanted it to be neat and tidy. 2.5 hours later!!! It doesn’t take me that long to clean my entire house.

Pretty sure it’ll needs another clean when I get back!

Annex

Greetings from Birmingham! Yes I know, I do get about sometimes. Up here working at a medical conference for a few days. Staying in a cute little AirBnb called ‘The Annex’. It’s really well done.

I’m looking forward to this bed tonight I can tell you.

Stable relationship

Back home after a fabulous weekend in Warwickshire. Katie and I got through so much work. I’m not sure we stopped talking the whole time too. Super excited about the new few months. I’m going to be a busy girl.

I’ll never be too busy for my little boy though. Just what I needed when I got home. Glorious sunshine, beautiful countryside and a chance to switch my brain off.

Pony cuddles

After a long day working, I popped to see Buddy for a quick cuddle. Even though he was more interested in his hay, he gave me a good sniff and lots of nuzzles.

He loves to groom my hair. So I brushed his mane in return. It’s such a special moment.

Back to it

A huge well done to everyone who made it through their first work day of 2022! Saw this earlier and it made me smile.

I hope the first day was a good one. Mine really was. Ticked lots off my list. And even managed to work out why my car is so cold, draughty and loud. Seems one of my rear windows was slightly ajar. Goodness knows when or how that happened. I honestly can’t remember ever opening it.

Sleepy

After 11 hours working for my chiro and a coaching client this evening, I am a tad tired. Saw this and thought it was rather apt.

Normal service will be resumed tomorrow I’m sure. Today has been a lovely day though. Lots of peopling. 👏🏻 I do love meeting people.
