Welcome to blog! I started it in 2020 to chart my recovery from breaking my ankle (hence the name). I guess no-one saw a global pandemic coming. It's turned into a place where I can talk about the things happening in my life, my horse and my cats. Enjoy!
I headed down to Suffolk today to meet up with a friend. We went out to a local pub for lunch and I made the fateful mistake of ordering Fish & Chips. When will I learn that this is usually code for ‘Small Whale & Chips’.
It was bloody good though. And so was the company.
What a beautiful day it’s been. Norfolk is a stunning as Suffolk was. East Anglia really is special. Fortunate to be able to explore two counties in one day.
This was the perfect way to end a rather lovely weekend.
Headed to Suffolk today to meet a friend for lunch. Good job we weren’t meeting at the pub. My phone decided that you don’t need data while you’re on the phone so my Sat Nav thought I was still at home. 😱 Needless to say, I took the scenic route.
Still it was work it for a lovely day. Great food, great company and a TMJ release to boot.

After a busy day in the garden, I headed to deepest darkest Suffolk. I’m at the Riding Club ODE at Poplar Park tomorrow, so took advantage it and caught up with Simon and Harry tonight.
Tried to get a selfie with their new puppy. He’s a tad squirmy. Now snuggled up in bed with their other puppy. Puppy cuddles are good.
