Coffee company

It was a glorious morning so I took my mid-morning coffee outside to enjoy the sunshine. Hugo decided to join me. He was purring away next to me. He was definitely giving the birds a run for their money in the sound stakes.

As I sat soaking up the rays and admiring the snowdrops, I felt very blessed indeed. In recent days, I’ve been feeling a bit frustrated and down about a few things. Today I took stock of things. There are definitely more things to be grateful for. More pros than cons.

Snowdrops are a wonderful sight for me. They are a real indicator that Spring is on the way. My favourite season. It’s a season of hope, new beginnings and starting over.

Amazing how a bit of sunshine, nature and coffee can boost one’s mood. The company was pretty good too.

Waking up

This is a sight that always makes me smile. The first signs of Mother Nature waking up. Snowdrops are such cheery little flowers. They almost look like they’re smiling too.

I’ve noticed that I have little signs that get me through Winter. This is definitely one of them. Winter is a time to rest, restore and rejuvenate. So that we can Spring into action. Not sure I’ve done that much resting so far. I’ve done a lot of driving. I know that.

Still the nights are drawing out. We’ve made it through the 600 days of January. But I’m not counting any chickens just yet.

Spring is my favourite season by far. It’s a season of new beginnings. I find it a very hopeful time.

Snowdrops

This is a sight that makes my heart sing. Or should that be spring? It’s definitely round the corner

I love it when the bulbs start coming up. It reminds me that nature will out. I know I’ve lost a few bits in the garden after the false Autumn and hard frosts. Things got very confused (as did I!)! It’ll be interesting to see what comes back.

The only downside is that it means I really, really need to get out in the garden and start tidying up. I need a few more hours in the day at the moment. Thankfully the nights are drawing out so I will get my wish soon.

Snowdrops

These made me smile so much today. I love it when the snowdrops come out. Spring is definitely on the way. I’ve got crocuses and tulips popping up too.

Spring is my favourite season by far. I love the hope and optimism of it. Mother Nature is waking up and preparing to bloom!
