Contrasts

I headed over to Martham this morning to catch up with a client. On my way I saw these beautiful sunflowers. Sunflowers always make me smile. These looked so cheery against the grey clouds.

I know it’s very British to complain about the weather, but seriously, what’s up with it…?!

Sunflower

I got back from my parents to find this beauty in my garden. I love sunflowers. This is the first time I’ve grown them for many many years. I’m grateful that I was gifted a few. They’re all growing well.

I had a good journey back from Sussex. The M25 was surprisingly clear. The same can’t be said about the weather. It was a tad soggy. But the lightning makes me smile. Good job too as there was a lot of that.

Rainbow’s end

After another day of random rainfall, spotted this beautiful rainbow at the yard. It reminded me of a wonderful quote from Maya Angelou ‘Try to be a rainbow in someone’s cloud’.

While doing my meal deliveries, I was complemented on how cheery and smiley I am. How lovely is that?! 😊
