Welcome to blog! I started it in 2020 to chart my recovery from breaking my ankle (hence the name). I guess no-one saw a global pandemic coming. It's turned into a place where I can talk about the things happening in my life, my horse and my cats. Enjoy!
We made it! The last day of January. What a weird month it’s been. Not just for me. It was a reoccurring theme when I was peopling this morning. So many people seemed to have had an odd one.
But one of the clients reminded me of this quote – “Saying goodbye to January means welcoming the next chapter with open arms.” It made me smile.
So here’s to the next chapter. Let’s see what February has to bring…

We went to Llandudno this afternoon for a wander along the pier. What a view!
I learnt the Lewis Carroll wrote part of Alice in Wonderland while he was here. I often think of one of the quotes – ”Have I gone mad?” “I’m afraid so, you’re entirely bonkers. But I’ll tell you a secret…all the best people are”

Fear not good people, Buddy and I haven’t entered the boards. But I did get to watch some dressage today. It was fun being at a horse thing, without doing the horse thing.
Great catching up with some lovely people. And being extra groom and videographer. Saw this quote on the toilet wall and it made me smile. It’s rather apt too.
It might be time for me to dust off Buddy’s dancing shoes as well. Kinda felt a bit inspired watching it today. Of course, that may pass…
