Tea leaf

What’s wrong with this picture?! Seems one of my charges is a little tea leaf! The joys of puppies huh?! Trouble is that he’s so adorably cute…

He reminds me of my grandparents. They had toy poodles when I was growing up. I spent many an hour running round the garden playing with them.

Last night with them tonight before returning home. I’ll miss them, but they will be very pleased to see their humans home again I’m sure. And the kittens will be happy to see me too.

Nomad

I’m back to my nomadic ways as I’m dog & house sitting for a good friend. New charges for me – Dotty and Bobby. Both adorable. Bobby is only 6 months old. He’s a bundle of fluffy energy for sure.

I’m getting my dog and puppy fix in one go!

Baby Jesus

I got to spend a lot of time having cuddles with this rather cute baby today. Well Christmas is about baby Jesus. So kinda fitting.

Who am I kidding?! Christmas is about eating lots, presents and spending it with the people you love. I got to spend most of it with 11 dogs. Definitely got my puppy fix.

Merry Christmas one and all! I hope you’ve had a good one. I have a full belly and a full heart. And that’s not just the Christmas spirit talking.

Man’s best friend

Back home after a lovely flying visit to Suffolk to catch up with Simon and Harry. And Bailey of course. He does love his Auntie Pip. I got to meet their new puppy too. My goodness, he’s a bundle of energy and fluff!

It’s always good for my soul to go and spend time with them all. We had a BBQ feast for dinner. So I can home feeling refreshed, refuelled and ready to go again.

I’m very lucky to have such special people in my life.

Chatty woman

Today has been one of those lovely days where I’ve got to catch up and chat non-stop. First with a number of client’s at the chiros.

Then with Anni as I got to met her new puppy Ruby, who is as adorable as her photos. And we had our first ride together of 2023.

Finally I met up with some of my Virgin Ladies for dinner. I am all chatted out. Who am I kidding?! I could chat for England.

Oreo

I had an early morning walk with this scrumptious little puppy today. He’s called Oreo. We headed to the local woods to beat the heat.

Anyone who knows me will know that Oreos are my favourite biscuits. In fact so much so, that before we could buy them here, my US friend used to post them to me. They have loads of different flavours over there. We still don’t have the full range here. But at least I can get them here now.

After my walk this morning and meeting Oreo, I kinda wished I had some biscuits at home.

Duran Duran

I got to meet this beauty tonight. He’s 10 weeks old and is called Rio. So of course, I’ve had the song playing in my head all evening.

I can’t say I was a huge Duran Duran fan. I liked some of their tracks. I was more of a rock chick than a new romantic.

But I’m definitely a fan of this Rio!

Puppy Love

You know you’ve made a really good impression when you go to leave and the dog wants to come home with you.

Back home after my trip to North Wales. It was utterly brilliant. Loved spending time with Katie and her family. Thank you for making me so welcome.

Even managed to catch up with my nieces Amy and Katie and my great-nephew Alex on the way back.

It was a long way, but worth it. I shall sleep well tonight.

Camp life again

What a wonderful way to start our latest camp. A hack round the forest with Maria and Sky followed by lunch and puppy cuddles.

Camp officially started this afternoon. I’m stuffed after the welcome BBQ. First lessons tomorrow. Excited to be back.
