When I drive into the close, I admire these plants in one of my neighbours’ driveway. I’ve watched them grow over the years that I’ve lived here. They’ve gone from tiny plants to these beauties. I love the flowers each year too.

Not a clue what they are. But that doesn’t matter. These particular neighbours are on the move soon so I hope the new owners keep them. In fact, it looks like I’m going to be getting lots of new neighbours as I’ve heard on the grapevine that there are 4 bungalows going up for sale soon. Fingers crossed for lots more lovely neighbours.

My little garden has exploded while I’ve been away. It’s looking so pretty at the moment. The Forget-Me-Nots are out and the bluebells aren’t far behind.

I love the way it changes over the year. There are bits that need tidying still. But that’s half the fun of gardening. There’s always room for another plant…

Storm clouds

That moment when you can’t work out if the rain is coming towards you or going to head past. Sadly it was the former. Another hack, another soaking. ☔️🤦🏻‍♀️

Buddy wasn’t impressed with the rain down ear look. Have to say I agreed with him there! It’s May for crying out loud. I couldn’t feel my thighs or hands by the time I got back.

So glad I watered all of the plants that I planted out today… Still it was a very good Sunday.
