Deferring

The plan had been to take a friend and her horse with us for a ride in Thetford Forest today. Unfortunately she wasn’t feeling very well, so we deferred our outing in favour of a hack at home instead.

We were out for nearly 2 hours all told. It was fab. She’d even made lunch for us to take. So we when we got back, we had a picnic in the tack room. I did offer to unlock the lorry so we could sit in there. Lunch in the lorry has a lovely ring to it.

Sometimes plans work out. Sometimes you just make a new plan. This one worked out well after all. Happy Sunday everyone.

Blustery day

Well my plans were blown away today as it’s been a very blustery here.

Pretty sure Buddy was trying to convince me that the wind blew the wheelbarrow and tools over.

Pity I saw him knock them all over. He gave me a much needed laugh today. He’s such a curious little boy. Likes to check everything out.

Fluid

My day has been rather fluid today. Think that the best word for it. Plans changed, stuff changed and got stuff done.

Spotted Dodo on the garage roof as I was filling the log basket. I’m rather impressed with my photo. But then I do have a good subject.

Plan B

So my day didn’t go to plan. So I made a new plan! That’s the beauty of plans. You can change them.

I was meant to see the dentist this morning. Arrived for my appointment at 9:30, only to be told it had been moved to 9:10. Bit of an admin cock up somewhere along the line as I didn’t get the message to say it had changed. Anyway all rebooked in for next week.

Headed over to meet up with a friend for a walk instead. That turned into nearly 5 hours of talking, a trip to a church and a visiting to a field to see some broadband being laid. Long story. And lots and lots of walking!

Here’s the inside of the church. It’s Elizabethan and mighty impressive.
