One of my aims for 2024 is to get better at eating. Now I know for many people that might seem like a weird aim. Honestly, I forget to eat. Food is the first thing to go with me. I’ve been fasting accidently for years.

So tonight I made something nutritious and very yummy.

It wasn’t just my insides who were given a nutritious treat today. I had a lush facial this morning.

Not to be outdone, my mind and spirit were also treated. I spent the afternoon listening to informative podcasts and programmes.

Pretty sure that’s called a balanced day. I shall sleep well tonight.

Competition prep

My new competition sticky jods have arrived. A winter thermal pair and a lightweight pair. All part of the master plan to crack dressage (and competing).

Also part of the master plan is sorting out a snaffle for Buddy as he’s been unsettled in his mouth. Today we tried a different one and there was a definite improvement. Got a couple more to try too so fingers crossed we find one he likes.

I’ve also ordered some meal replacement shakes to try and sort out my nutrition issues. One thing I’ve realised is that I’m not setting either of us up for success by not looking after myself. So making a conscious effort to improve.

Just need to enter some competitions now….

Fun facts

It’s amazing the things you find out while peopling. Today I was reading an article all about the benefits of cheese.

Who knew that cottage cheese was so good for you?! Not totally sure I fancy eating it before bed though. But I will definitely look at it differently. Might have to get some to eat after riding…
