Welcome to blog! I started it in 2020 to chart my recovery from breaking my ankle (hence the name). I guess no-one saw a global pandemic coming. It's turned into a place where I can talk about the things happening in my life, my horse and my cats. Enjoy!
Well I haven’t seen these two lovely ladies since February 2020. That time we had sushi at mine as I was still in plaster. This time we got to go out. It was just brilliant to see them both. We’ve all had our challenges in that time. We’ve had our highs too. But it was like no time had passed.
Very grateful for good friends and good sushi!!
There are many things in life that I have learnt. Leaving the shopping bags in car is one I’m still struggling with. Not sure why I remember halfway round a shop with a basket full of stuff though.
Still gave me a chance to buy a new bag (to join the many in my car of course).
After watching the Friends Reunion, this seemed appropriate. This one has had less work I’m guessing…
Today has been one of catching up. With friends. With stuff. With Buddy. After 3 days of feeling a bit off, I’m definitely back on good form.
I think I’ve earnt these today. After walking for 3 hours yesterday, I rode for 2 hours today. Burnt one or two calories I’m guessing.
Buddy and I popped our High Ash cherries today. Can’t believe it’s taken me so long to get there. Definitely worth the wait though.
The sun shone and so did Buddy. He took everything in his stride. Including his first encounter with pigs! He wasn’t bothered at all.
We were so busy chatting that I completely forgot to take a photo. Buddy loved it too. Especially the gallops.
Today has been one of those days where I’ve been reminded of how lucky I am. I have so many people in my life who love me, lookout for me and enjoy spending time with me. This week I will be catching up with lots of them. One at a time of course. Really looking forward to it…
