That’s a wrap

Christmas 2022 done! Thank you Simon and Harry for a truly wonderful Christmas.

Buddy and I have been utterly spoilt. They say that family is not always by blood, it’s by heart. Well these two are definitely in my heart.

Family time

This picture makes me happy. My Dad is home and resting. My Mum is really happy to have him back. Fingers crossed his recovery continues.

Getting older sucks. The last 3 years have been incredibly tough for me and my family. Both of my parents have had life-threatening episodes. I swear they’re tag-teaming! It’s been one thing after another with them. It was only 3 months ago we were in the same situation with my Dad.

But I’m grateful I still have two parents. Hopefully there won’t be any more emergency hospital trips for a while.

It’s made me think about my future. Everyone has an expiration date, we just don’t know what it is. One thing is for sure, I’m planning on enjoying every minute I have left.

Puppy Love

You know you’ve made a really good impression when you go to leave and the dog wants to come home with you.

Back home after my trip to North Wales. It was utterly brilliant. Loved spending time with Katie and her family. Thank you for making me so welcome.

Even managed to catch up with my nieces Amy and Katie and my great-nephew Alex on the way back.

It was a long way, but worth it. I shall sleep well tonight.

Family favourite

For many years growing up, Thursdays were fish & chips night in the Langley household. So seemed a fitting dinner tonight. Can’t remember the last time I had fish & chips. Probably another time visiting my parents.

I am now as full as an egg.
