Welcome to blog! I started it in 2020 to chart my recovery from breaking my ankle (hence the name). I guess no-one saw a global pandemic coming. It's turned into a place where I can talk about the things happening in my life, my horse and my cats. Enjoy!
Another full on day for me. Early start too with a jumping lesson at 8:15am. Not sure either us were at our best but we came, we jumped and we learned.
Then a speedy turnout to get down to Simon and Harry’s for a long overdue catch up. Anyone would think we were having chicken for dinner… Thankfully there was lots left for us.
Buddy and I are back home after a fab Christmas away. It was an amazing few days. Spent with loving people, six dogs, seven horses and two cats. What’s not to love?!?!
Always sad to leave. But it’s definitely au revoir. The kittens were very happy to have me home, I can tell you. I’ve swapped puppy kisses for kitten purrs.
Well I think it’s safe to say that I’ve been missed. After spending 11 nights in other people’s beds (not like that smutty), I’m really looking forward to sleeping in my own bed tonight.
After sleeping with two dogs on the bed, I think I will have two kittens on the bed tonight. That’s if Hugo let’s me off the sofa. I’m kinda pinned right now.
So I arrived home around the same time that my Dad did. Different homes of course. But at least he’s home. And so am I. Well kinda. I’m dog-sitting for some friends for the next week. So living out of a suitcase for a bit longer.
I had a very smooth journey home (not something you can always say when the M25 is concerned). The kittens were very happy to see me. As was Buddy. It’s always nice to be missed.
I’m pooped. It’s been a few full on days. Again. I shall definitely sleep well tonight.
Back home after a lovely weekend away with my wonderful friends, Simon and Harry. It’s always good catching up with them, their horses and dogs.

Well I don’t know about anyone else, but my brain has been utterly fried today! It’s been so hot! 🥵
A friend and I took her dogs for an early walk through the woods. It was lovely and cool in there.
I tried to work but it was so hot I couldn’t concentrate. So I headed to the shade in the garden to listen to some training and a podcast.
In other news, it’s Buddy 4 – Poultice 0. He really doesn’t want it on. I’ll trot him up again on Monday and see how he is. 🤞🏻
