Welcome to blog! I started it in 2020 to chart my recovery from breaking my ankle (hence the name). I guess no-one saw a global pandemic coming. It's turned into a place where I can talk about the things happening in my life, my horse and my cats. Enjoy!
I have to do a hotel site visit in Brighton tomorrow. So I came down to stay the night with my Dad. I bought some snacks for the trip – including a big bag of Marmite crisps. I love Marmite, I love crisps, so I really love Marmite crisps.
I may have accidently eaten the whole bag! It was only afterwards that I saw the warning. They were spot on there….!
Today hasn’t been my best. I had a mini-meltdown in B&M of all places. Who knew that was THE place to go on a Sunday morning?! It was packed. Thought I’d get most of the last minute things I needed for Conference in there. I was wrong, So ended up in Morrisons and Card Factory too. That took much longer than I’d planned so put me behind.
This did made me smile though. Not sure if it’s inspired or sad. I mean, I love crisps. But not sure I want a box as a Christmas present. Of course, if anyone does want to buy me one, I won’t say no…
Anyone else’s cat like marmite crisps?! The kittens go mad whenever I open a packet. I get mugged for them.
I’m a huge fan of all things marmite. I know it’s not everyone’s thing. But it’s very much mine. Nothing like marmite on toast to make the world feel a better place. And let’s face it, we can do with that right now.
It’s been a tough week with one thing and another. So I finished it with a bit of time with my best Buddy. He definitely makes my world better.
Well that’s blood donation number 58 done and dusted!
It’s good to give back. I know there are lots of people who can’t but as I can, I do.
And I got 2 packets of crisps today. I wasn’t sure I’d eaten enough so purely medicinal.
