Bee happy

I bought some new tea towels a while back but had used them yet. Today I got this one out. Isn’t it lovely?

I love bees. It’s wonderful watching them buzz around my garden. They’re so industrious. Always on a mission or so it seems.

Bit like me today. I definitely clocked up done laptop hours today. I’m a week out from the big conference I’m supporting. So lots and lots of admin to be done. Good job I love a spreadsheet. I think I had 8 open today at one point. Lot of briefing calls too.

I’ve been a busy bee today. And if it all goes to plan, my clients will bee very happy too.

Bee nice

It’s good to be home. Even if it means I have to fend for myself. I could get used to being catered for you know. It was lovely not to have to think what to eat. Just grab a plate and tuck in for the past few days.

Being back from camp, also means a mountain of washing, cleaning and tidying. Made a start on that. The glorious sunshine means the washing dries quickly.

While making one of many trips to the washing line, I stopped to admire this geranium. I love this one. Especially contrasting against the daisies. It was smothered in bees. So not only does it look good, it does good too.

My garden has exploded while I’ve been away. It was only 3 nights. Fingers crossed we get some rain soon as some bits are starting to look a bit sad. Looks like I will be getting the mower out this weekend. Cause I haven’t sweated enough this week…

Bee’s sting

Today, Dodo learnt a valuable life lesson. If you play with bees, you’re going to get stung!!

Poor little boy was very unhappy. Thankfully he didn’t react to it. Though he is feeling rather sorry forgot himself. Lots of medicinal cuddles needed tonight.
