Equilibrium

I bought Buddy a present at Hickstead. Not sure he totally deserved it after our poor showing, but it’s been on the list for a while now. They had a show offer on, so I saved nearly 25% on it. So technically it was a bargain. Horse girl maths at full play there!

He is such a pampered pony. Totally worth it though. Anything to help him feel at his best. He will still have his regular treatments. This is to keep him loose in between. After Hickstead, I was tempted to wrap it round me too. Definitely feeling all those steps back and forth. It’s a huge site!

Buddy seemed to be enjoying it. He was drifting off at times. I wish I could do that when I’m having a massage. I clearly talk too much…

Bag a bargain

Yesterday I drove back down to my parents for my 4th visit in 2 months. In my haste to leave, I managed to forget my handbag. Doh! Money is OK as I can used my phone. My reading glasses. Well that’s a different story. My Dad had some I could use last night, but they were too strong so I couldn’t use them for long.

This morning I headed out to get some new readers. Poundland came up trumps! I’d love to say that the glasses were the only thing I bought. But we all know that’s just not possible.

On our way back from seeing Mum in Crowborough, I introduced Dad to the joys of Home Bargains. I saw this bag and it made me laugh. It’s so true! And yes, we came out with a bag full.

Salt spa

Took Buddy back over to Weston today for another Newmarket Salt Treatment. He was fascinated by all the horses there. Especially the Shetland’s. Got complements on how lovely and well behaved he is.

He really does seem to enjoy the treatment. He wanders off and then comes back to the nozzle.

I get a treatment too. Makes my nose tingle and gives my sinuses a good clear out!

Lovely to catch up with Tamsin Conyers too! Another bonus!

On my way there, I got told off by a lorry driver for not indicating when I slowed to turn. I was indicating so checked the lorry and the bulb had blown. Took it down the road to my local garage. They changed the bulb for the princely sum of £3. Bargain!
