Welcome to blog! I started it in 2020 to chart my recovery from breaking my ankle (hence the name). I guess no-one saw a global pandemic coming. It's turned into a place where I can talk about the things happening in my life, my horse and my cats. Enjoy!
What an wonderful way to spend a Saturday afternoon. Riding round High Ash Farm in the glorious sunshine. It’s April and it was 19 degrees!
The bluebells are starting to come out. It’s so peaceful there. Well apart from Kathy and I chatting all the way round.
Buddy was very happy to be out for an adventure too.
Impromptu road trip over to Brampton to meet up with Katie and Tash for an afternoon hack.
It was one of my favourite kind of afternoons – catching up with friends, being outdoors and time with Buddy. 3 things that always put a smile on my face.
This feeds my soul more than anything else. Me and my boy out for an afternoon stroll. Everywhere looks so lush and green. It was great to feel the sun on our backs too.
Hardly a soul out either. Sheer bliss!
Gave him his first full bath of the year too. His mane was disgusting. Buddy made his feelings known on the situation by standing on the shampoo bottle. 🤦🏻♀️ So we now have a very clean yard floor. 🤪
