After his histrionics on yesterday’s hack, today was a very chilled one. I just love this little face! Happy birthday Buddy Boy.

Welcome to blog! I started it in 2020 to chart my recovery from breaking my ankle (hence the name). I guess no-one saw a global pandemic coming. It's turned into a place where I can talk about the things happening in my life, my horse and my cats. Enjoy!

Look who’s made it to double digits! Happy 10th Birthday Buddy Boy!!

After mowing both lawns and breaking the back of the weeding, I took Buddy out for a hack. It was a rather tense affair as someone was on high alert. He was just waiting to spook at something. He definitely decided there were monsters everywhere today. Silly boy.

After an amazing energy workshop this morning, I headed out for another long walk. Covered 11km at a rather brisk pace. Was great to get the heart rate up. Stopped to watch the dragonflies flitting around in the verge. This chap particularly caught my eye. He was very cool indeed.

We should have been at a training camp this weekend. The first of the four we were booked into. Two have already been cancelled. I totally understand it, but it still makes me sad. These photos were from the last camp we did in 2019. We came so far last year, it’s frustrating that we can’t get back to where we were. But it’s always easier to get somewhere the second time. Fingers crossed we’ll be able to get going again soon.

Hugo and Dolce have been part of the Langley family for 3 weeks today. Looks like they’re settling in really well.

Today I not only rocked my ‘Beat Covid-19’ t-shirt, I rocked the ‘windswept and interesting’ look. Went for a lovely walk past Braydeson and Blofield Churches. I sat in the graveyard at Blofield Church for a bit. I find graveyards really peaceful. I love looking at the gravestones and wondering what the people were like.

Rocking my ‘Beat Covid-19’ t-shirt!! Thank you RAZE Print Shop. I bloody love it!!

I saw this on another post and really liked it. It’s been a funny kind of day. Seemed to go in the blink of an eye and yet crawl by at the same time. Some days are harder than others. Some days stand out. Some days feel the same. It’s all very odd.
