Wanna build a snowman
Woke up to snow. Again. This time with strong winds. So we all had a snow day.
Used the time to clean tack, tidy the house and cuddle up with the boys watching the rugby. My little twig burner is packing out some heat keeping us all warm. Think it’s going to be needed a lot this week judging by the forecast.
Snow kittens
Last time we had snow, the kittens were pretty nonplussed. This time the snow / wind combo has revved them up. They’re tearing round the garden (and house) like their tails are on fire…
My little helpers
Hugo is making it rather difficult to clean Buddy’s new bridle.
I gave it one coat before heading to the yard. Came back to find him still there. Fast asleep.
Cat sofa
Probably a good job I can’t have visitors at the moment. It appears I’ve become one of those cat owners who’s cats have their own sofa….
Friday feeling
What a beautiful afternoon and the perfect way to round off a pretty good week. It felt like spring was in the air. Can’t believe we’re due snow. ❄️
Haircut day
Third time lucky for Buddy’s haircut. First time he couldn’t be clipped cause he’d embraced his hippo breeding a little too much. Second time he couldn’t be clipped cause I had Covid. He’s rather late for his second clip but it was much needed as he was getting a tad warm.
Doesn’t he look good?! Just in time for snow this weekend. 🤦🏻♀️

Boing
Buddy and I left the ground for the first time in 2021. We tackled an exercise by Tina Fletcher. One good thing about being ill, it’s given me a chance to find some new training exercises and focus on my learning again. I’m back to webinars of an evening.
We were a little bit rusty, but it was a really fun exercise. I’m not sure who had the bigger smile?!
I also did my first Pilates class of the year too. I’m going to be feeling both tomorrow me thinks.
Inspiration is everywhere
It’s amazing how inspiration can be found everywhere. What Captain Tom Moore achieved last year was incredible. He definitely left a legacy. I hope others will follow in his footsteps.
