Windswept and interesting

Today I not only rocked my ‘Beat Covid-19’ t-shirt, I rocked the ‘windswept and interesting’ look. Went for a lovely walk past Braydeson and Blofield Churches. I sat in the graveyard at Blofield Church for a bit. I find graveyards really peaceful. I love looking at the gravestones and wondering what the people were like.

Light and shade

I saw this on another post and really liked it. It’s been a funny kind of day. Seemed to go in the blink of an eye and yet crawl by at the same time. Some days are harder than others. Some days stand out. Some days feel the same. It’s all very odd.

Keep cool

The shade sail has been deployed!! I love my little patio area. The fire basket has arrived too. Haven’t lit it yet, but I will. It was so hot today I needed to shade, so out the sail came. This is a guarantee that it will rain for a week of course…

Be content

After my busy day yesterday, today has been a much more sedate affair. Sure I’ve done stuff but nothing major.

Feeling very content with my lot today. It’s been a beautiful day, I’ve got 3 gorgeous cats, a stunning horse (who I had a lovely hack on this afternoon). I live in a lovely house in a glorious part of the world. I have lots of people in my life who love and appreciate me. And that’s just a few of the things I’m grateful for.

Sometimes you need to appreciate what you have and not focus on what you don’t.

Keep moving

Monday’s are fast becoming ‘Move it Monday’ as they seem to be my exercise day.

Started off with the sweat fest that is Mega HIIT Monday with the awesome PT Michelle.

Then I went for a 9.7km walk round Strumpshaw and Buckenham. It was so peaceful. Stood watching the calves playing in the sunshine.

Finally an hour of Pilates. Think I’ve burned my weeks worth of calories! And that’s before I’ve ridden. I’m all about the dolphins!! Exercise really lifts my mood.
